InfoCision not only hires employees for its brick-and-mortar call centers, but the company also hires Customer Service Representatives to work from home in 30 states across the country.

Overview of the Customer Service Representative

These positions require both outbound and inbound calls for commercial sales companies and fundraising for nonprofits such as Christian and conservative groups. The following is a general overview, and the exact duties will depend on the position and client.

Also, depending on business demand, you may be cross-trained to work on calls for several clients.

Responsibilities

The primary duties of this position include:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls from customers.
  • Placing outbound sales or fundraising calls to potential customers or donors.
  • Providing outstanding customer service on each call.

Education and Qualifications Needed

Other than having a high school diploma or a GED, InfoCision does not require any specialized skills or experience. But, the company assigns agents to programs based on their skills. 

Technical Requirements

InfoCision does not provide any equipment; therefore, you must have the following:

  • The company prefers you have a PC or laptop running Windows 8 or higher. 
  • A Chromebook with a USB ethernet cord is acceptable.
  • Newer Macs are acceptable.
  • PCs or laptops must have a minimum monitor size of 17 inches.
  • Laptops must have an external mouse.
  • Must have a wired USB headset with a mute button and volume control.
  • Webcam with sound.
  • Must have up-to-date Windows Defender antivirus.
  • The browser must be Google Chrome and up to date. 
  • Must have high-speed internet that is either DSL, Cable, or WiFi, with 25Mbs download and 5 Mbs upload (no satellite or hotspots allowed).

Work Schedules

There is no information listed as to scheduling or hours of operation for call center employees.

Training

All training is completed remotely and is paid for by the company.
