Overview of the Virtual Call Center Advisor
Responsibilities
Some of the responsibilities of this position include:
- Answering incoming customer calls.
- Making outbound calls to customers.
- Assisting customers with renewals of newsletters or magazines.
- Making fundraising calls.
- Handling calls that are consistent with the client’s requirements.
- Complying with the company’s policies and procedures.
Education and Qualifications Needed
Some of the requirements for this position include:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Posses basic keyboarding and computer skills.
- Previous customer service or call center experience is preferred but not required.
Technical and Home Office Requirements
You must have a quiet home office space free from distractions, along with the following.
- Either a laptop or desktop computer with Windows 7 or higher and at least 2GB of memory.
- The computer processor must be at least 1.8GHz.
- The monitor must have a resolution of at least 1024 x 768.
- High-speed, hard-wired internet service.
- Corded USB headset.
- Cell phone or landline telephone service.
Training
All training is completed remotely from home.
Pay and Benefits
The starting pay for this position will depend on the client but is typically between $8 and $10 per hour, and they offer weekly pay.
This position is an independent contractor, 1099 role; therefore, the company offers no benefits.
