Work at Home Proofreading and Editing Jobs

I make money on some of the products and services I mention on Thinking Frugal through affiliate relationships. I never endorse a product or service unless I believe it will benefit my readers.

Working from home as a proofreader or editor can be a great way to make a living, or it’s a great way to make some extra money. And if you have an eye for detail and are able to catch typos and misspellings, then it could be the job for you.

These jobs are usually independent contractor positions so they allow you to work when it’s convenient for you, and they don’t require strict schedules.

What is Proofreading?

Proofreading is reading through a finished draft and correcting all of the spelling, grammatical, and punctuation errors and typos.

It’s an editor’s job to make sure the text is easy to read and understand, and that it flows easily.
