If your kids are older and understand, or can be taught that they can’t disturb you while you’re working, then there are more options for you to work at home. 

Make sure to have plenty of activities for them so they can entertain themselves while you’re busy with your job. 

Make them a schedule and plan activities such as reading, board games, educational games, or favorite television shows and movies. 

Also, if your kids are old enough to know how to work a computer or tablet, you can pre-plan virtual play dates with their friends.

You’re going to need to have some type of private work area with a computer, either a desktop or a laptop, and high-speed internet service.

If you’re going to work a phone job, you’ll need to have a noise-canceling headset.
