6 Ways to Get Paid Doing Other People’s Laundry from Your Home

I make money on some of the products and services I mention on Thinking Frugal through affiliate relationships. I never endorse a product or service unless I believe it will benefit my readers.

Doing laundry in your home for other people is a great way to make extra money. All you need is a washer and dryer, some detergent and fabric softener, and some time. It’s an easy and convenient side hustle.

By laundering other people’s clothing and linens, you not only get paid for it but also save them the time and effort of having to do it themselves. It can be especially helpful for busy families looking for more free time or those who simply don’t want to do the chore themselves.

Plus, doing laundry from home offers flexibility that a traditional job wouldn’t by letting you choose when and how much you want to work.

What are Home-Based Laundry Services?

Home-based laundry services typically involve picking up the items from the customer’s home, washing and drying them using your own washing machine and detergents, folding them neatly, and then delivering them back to the customer.

These services are often used by people who don’t have the time or resources to do their own laundry or by those who want the convenience of having someone else take care of it for them.

Some laundry services may also offer additional services like ironing and stain removal for an additional fee.
