Overview of the Guest Experience Specialist

The following is a brief overview of the type of work that is involved with this position.


As a Guest Experience Specialist, you will directly communicate with guests daily and have a high level of responsibility in creating memorable experiences. You will also do the following:

  • Answer incoming telephone calls from guests.
  • Respond to guests via email, chat, text, and web-based platforms.
  • Coordinate and schedule housekeeping.
  • Answer detailed questions regarding specific units.
  • Successfully resolve guest issues during first contact.
  • Meet and exceed team metrics.

Education and Qualifications Needed

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following:

  • Have at least two years of prior experience in the service industry.
  • Have outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Have excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be reliable and always on time.
  • Ability to act decisively.
  • Prior record of reaching set goals.
  • Experience using technology.
  • Ability to learn new platforms and systems.
  • Must have a positive and calm demeanor.
