SSRS offers work-at-home jobs with flexible schedules, and they also have weekend-only shifts. This company offers a great option for those needing a second job, retirees looking to supplement their income, or stay-at-home moms looking to make a little money.

What is SSRS?

SSRS is a Pennsylvania-based company founded in 1991. They specialize in professional market research services and surveys.

This company is always seeking Telephone Interviewers to make outbound telephone calls conducting surveys. Surveys can include a wide range of topics such as politics, healthcare, current events, or customer satisfaction.

Most positions are part-time, weekend only. However, occasionally, they do have openings for Monday through Friday positions.

SSRS only hires Telephone Interviewers in ten states, so to be considered, you’ll need to live in Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia.

Overview of the Telephone Interviewer

Responsibilities

Some of the duties of this position include:

  • Making outbound telephone calls.
  • Explaining the reason for the call and addressing concerns.
  • Accurately and clearly read the survey questions exactly as written.
  • Clarifying responses that are unclear or vague.
  • Successfully conducting other duties that are assigned.

Education and Qualifications Needed

To qualify for this position, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Have excellent grammar.
  • Possess active listening skills.
  • Possess excellent communication and enunciation skills.
  • Have outstanding reading skills.
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
  • Basic understanding of how to open documents and send emails.

Technical and Home Office Requirements

  • You must have a quiet workspace.
  • Must possess a newer personal computer that is less than five years old.
  • The computer cannot be a Chromebook, mini laptop, Notebook, or Mac.
  • Must have high-speed internet service with at least 5mbps upload and 20mbps download. (WiFi is allowed if it’s the required speed).
  • Must have a personal phone to communicate with the company. (Customer calls will be made via VoIP).

Training

All training is completed remotely and paid for.

Work Schedules

These positions are part-time. They require you to commit to at least 60 hours per month, which equates to 15 hours per week.

Out of those 60 hours, 20 must be worked on the weekends-either Saturdays, Sundays, or both.
Must be able to work at least two Fridays per month.
The maximum number of hours allowed is 37, within a Monday through Sunday period.

Weeknight shifts must be at least four hours.

Weeknight working hours are between 6:00 PM and 12:00 AM. Shifts can start at 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, or 8:00 PM Eastern Time.

Weekend shifts must be at least five hours.
Saturday working hours are between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM EST.
Sunday working hours are between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM EST.
The company offers a variety of start and end times on Saturday and Sunday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay for this position is $9 per hour. The company offers $9.50 per hour to bilingual employees. They also pay an additional 10% for all hours worked in a week, over 20. In other words, if you work 22 hours within a week, you will be paid $9 per hour for the first 20 hours and $9.90 per hour for the other two hours worked.

Since these are part-time positions, no employee benefits are offered.
