What Does a Telephone Answering Service Do?
A telephone answering service is a company that answers calls for another business as if they were based in that business’ own office. If the business isn’t available, the call is transferred to an employee, or a message is recorded. Hiring a telephone answering service is a cost-effective way for small and medium businesses to provide excellent customer service that can’t otherwise afford a receptionist.Â
